How it works

The car won't start. The thief has no idea why.

A standard car alarm makes noise. A steering lock can be cut. Neither stops the methods thieves actually use today — relay attacks that copy your key signal, or plugging into the OBD port to programme a blank key in seconds.

    Wired discreetly into your car's CAN data network — no visible box, no LED and no aerial for a thief to find.

    Your unique sequence

    To drive away, you enter a sequence using buttons already in the car: steering wheel, door panels, centre console. Only you know it.

    When the car is serviced or valeted, a temporary mode lets someone move it without ever knowing your sequence.

Good to know

Does the Ghost stop relay theft?
Yes. Relay attacks copy your key signal to unlock and start the car. The Ghost ignores the key entirely for starting — without the correct sequence, the engine won't run, signal or no signal.
Will it void my manufacturer warranty?
No. The Ghost connects to the CAN network without cutting into the original wiring, so it doesn't affect your warranty.
Can I still let a garage or valet move my car?
Yes — a temporary service mode lets you hand the car over without revealing your sequence.
Is it visible?
No. There's no box, light or aerial on show. A thief can't disarm what they can't find.
Is it Thatcham approved?
The Ghost is TASSA-approved aftermarket security. Where your insurer requires a Thatcham-rated device, I'll fit a Ghost alongside an insurance-approved S5 or S7 tracker for full, layered protection.
