    Modern Mercedes keyless systems can be relayed in seconds, and a blank key can be programmed through the OBD port almost as fast. The Autowatch Ghost ignores the key entirely — without your PIN sequence, the engine simply will not run.

    Where your policy or your peace of mind asks for it, I'll add a Meta Trak S5 or S7 tracker alongside the Ghost. Combined, you have prevention and recovery — the two things that actually move the needle on prestige theft.

Good to know

Are AMGs really a target?
Yes — they sit near the top of organised-theft lists because the value and the parts market both reward it. Relay and OBD attacks make modern Mercedes models faster to steal than most owners realise.
Will the Ghost work with my AMG's keyless system?
Yes. The Ghost is wired into the CAN data network — it doesn't touch your key or your existing keyless system. It simply prevents the engine from starting unless your PIN sequence is entered.
Will it affect my Mercedes warranty?
No. The Ghost connects to the CAN bus without cutting into the original wiring, so it doesn't affect your manufacturer warranty.
Do I need a tracker as well as a Ghost?
Often it makes sense. The Ghost prevents the car being driven; an insurance-approved S5 or S7 tracker locates it if it's ever moved on a flatbed. Many AMG insurers prefer or require the tracker on higher-value cars.
Where do you fit?
At your home or workplace anywhere within roughly 25 miles of Kenilworth. No travel charge, no drop-off, no rental car required.
