More from your car — without compromising the car.
A remap should make your vehicle feel like it always should have, not push it past what it was built for. With an engineering background and a lifetime around high-performance vehicles, I take a measured approach to tuning: the right map for the car, the driver and how you actually use it — never a reckless chase for headline numbers.
If you want your car to pull more smoothly, respond more sharply or run more efficiently, let's have an honest conversation about what's realistic and worthwhile for your specific vehicle.
- 01
Forced-induction petrol
Turbocharged and supercharged petrols typically respond with up to around 25% more power and noticeably sharper throttle. The big shift is in drivability — the car feels properly awake, not just faster on paper.
- 02
Turbo diesel
Up to roughly 30% more power and a significant lift in torque, with most owners reporting better fuel economy on a steady run. Towing, motorway cruising and overtakes all change for the better.
- 03
Naturally aspirated
Around 10–15% on most NA petrols. Less dramatic on paper than a turbo car, but a cleaner throttle response and a better top-end — especially on older performance engines.

Inside the engine's limits, every time
Every map I write respects MOT emissions, the engine's design ceilings and the transmission behind it. Healthy gains, not headline gains — because the car still has to start every morning for the next ten years.
Remapping since the early '90s — back when you had to read the binary.
I started on Bosch Motronic ECUs — early Porsches and BMWs — in the early 1990s, before off-the-shelf files existed. That background still shapes the way I work: every car is health-checked first, the original file is read and saved, and the map is written for the specific vehicle, fuel and use case in front of me.
Cars are tuned at your home or workplace within roughly 25 miles of Kenilworth, with no travel charge. The work takes a couple of hours on the drive, and you keep the original file in case you ever want it back exactly as it was.
If your car isn't a good candidate — high mileage with known weak points, an overdue service, a tired clutch — I'll tell you before we start. We fit to a standard, not a price, and that applies to maps too.
Good to know
How much power will I actually gain?
Will it damage the engine or gearbox?
Will it pass an MOT?
Can I have it taken back to standard?
Will it improve fuel economy?
How long does it take and where do you do it?
